Research interests

In general, I am interested in silviculture, disturbance ecology, and forest health. I am looking into the detection and dynamics of Eastern larch beetle in lowland conifer forests in Wisconsin and also at possible replacement tree species for forests impacted by emerald ash borer.

What do you do for fun?

For fun, I like to read, paint, thrift, and do anything that gets me outside.

Favorite tree:

Northern White Cedar
