Research Interests
I'm working to develop management practices to conserve eastern hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) in Minnesota! My research includes identifying where hemlock currently grows and why, and a growth study. Other professional interests include science communication and connecting youth and young adults to the outdoors.
What do you do for fun?
When I'm not pointing out prairie plants and trees to anyone in my vicinity, you can find me walking other people's dogs, hosting friends, or curled up with a romance novel.
