"Bog hopping for the birds"

Marcella Windmuller-Campione and Rob Slesak are working on a collaborative project with the Natural Resources Research Institute (NRRI) to "understanding how slow-growing bog[s] grow and regenerate after a harvest and how the water levels influence their productivity". This project also addresses effects of forest management on the boreal chickadee.

This project is funded for four years by the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund (ENRTF) following recommendation from the Legislative Citizen Commission for Minnesota Resources (LCCMR).
