Research Interests
I am interested in disturbance ecology and the silvicultural practices used to mitigate damage and achieve stability in a changing climate. My research looks at the possible benefits of using biochar as a soil amendment for seedling resilience in northern Minnesota.
About me
I am an avid skier, hiker, biker, antique/insect collector, and reader. Favorite pastimes include cooking my way through new cookbooks and hanging out with my cat Baloo!
