Research Interests

My research interests involve applications of remotely sensed data to understand broad-scale landscape patterns. I have worked to integrate 3D point clouds and their derivatives with time series satellite imagery for mapping and monitoring, most recently to identify the abundance of ash trees in Minnesota.

My current work is researching applications of time series satellite imagery to aid the U.S. Forest Service in Environmental Analysis and Decision Making (EADM).
